why is it so difficult to feed a nation?

dscn13081

this isn’t a title. i was just looking at this crop that i cut in half. i decided to take a picture of it. it was the shape and the colour and the abundant seeds.

the abundant seeds.

then it occurred to me. it seems as though nature wants to propagate itself. one fruit, one crop, one plant carrying so many seeds? it is not that the earth cannot sustain our population. but there are other factors, factors unique to the human psyche.

left to earth itself, freed from our individualistic preoccupations, we all could live comfortably here. but with me, meme, my family, my tribe, my country. so many different fragments of the whole, so many borders and boundaries.

seeds must be divided.

who bought the lands sets the price.

or the creditors of the person who bought the land set the price, decide how many seeds sent here, how many seeds sent there, how many seeds not sent at all because too many seeds being propagated and distributed can cause inflation.
